Are the books really free?

Yes! Anyone can come in once per day and pick 3 books for free. Schools and educational charities are welcome to come in and choose whatever books would suit their needs. This is of course subject to availability and proof of identity. Please see here for more information.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 10am to 2pm Monday until Friday. We are not open on weekends or bank holidays. Stated times are subject to change at short notice, please see our Facebook page for updates.

How does my school access books?

Please get in touch or pop in with some school ID and we'll do our best to help. Please see here for more information.

Do you deliver?

No, the books are available for free and we do not have the funds to deliver.

Do you collect?

No, we are unable to provide collection for any donations, but we welcome donations of books and other items anytime we are open. Please see here for more information.

How do you fund it?

We are a registered charity (number 1144969). We are totally self-funded and rely on the sale of donated items in our shop to cover all of our running costs. We welcome donations for the books but do not require one to be given. We welcome donations of items to sell. It is vital that we cover our running costs. We do not have any other means of support, other than donations.
